18-Year-Old Parrot Joins His Human Singing Stairway To Heaven

The pandemic has transformed our lives in a variety of ways. Many of us think of it as a horrible event, but for one man and his parrot, it was quite wonderful.

Many of us found ourselves stuck at home, wondering what we were going to do with our time. That was also true with Frank Maglio Jr and his wife, Gina.

Frank enjoyed playing the guitar but didn’t always have time to do so. The epidemic provided him with an opportunity to pick up the guitar and begin playing, at which point he discovered his parrot’s secret gift.

They have an Amazon parrot named Tico, whom they adopted from an elderly British woman. They enjoy owning a parrot, but they were particularly pleased when they discovered how much the bird enjoyed hearing the guitar.

One day, Frank was playing the guitar, and Tico decided to sing along. It all started with the song “Stairway to Heaven,” and Gina began recording as soon as Tico started singing.

They decided to share a video on Facebook and then YouTube. A new YouTube channel was launched. Frank often publishes videos of himself performing a duet with his pet parrot, to which over 250,000 people subscribe.

He posts videos on both YouTube and Facebook. People enjoy hearing him play the guitar, but they especially like Tico and how he sings along.

The responses demonstrate how much people value not only hearing the birds sing, but also the distraction that it provides. We all needed this during the pandemic, and we need it even more now.
