KEEP THE ROMANCE PRIVATE, PLEASE!
Today, I saw something in the park near the church that didn’t sit right with me at all. There was a couple, easily in their 70s (if not older!), kissing in broad daylight for everyone to see! Is this supposed to be a show for the younger folks? People our age should be setting an example of dignity and restraint, not putting on public displays like this. Especially so close to a sacred place!
Is this some modern trend of proving we can do anything at any age? Aren’t there more respectable ways to show affection? I believe there’s a time and a place for everything, and adults should know better than to act this way in public.
Or is it just me? Do others really think that we, as seniors, should have the same freedom as teenagers? Maybe it’s time to think a bit more about the impression we’re leaving on others.

That is so sweet. My husband and I just celebrated our 58 years of marriage. Sad thing is, he has dementia and doesn’t live at home any more. Leave this couple alone and let them enjoy each other
I think it’s beautiful that they are proud of their love for each other. It’s you, your jealous because you don’t have what they have and you have antiquated ideas of what is correct. You come from a time when open expressions of love in public were frowned upon, but it was ok for 0people to argue and fight. Leave them alone, you don’t like it , don’t look and delete it. Problem solved.
I so hope our love goes on forever! We started when I was 15 years old and he was 19 and we married when I turned 17 years old in 1965 and now together for 61 years married 59 years!❤️
When elderly couples show love toward each other, whether it’s a kiss or holding hands, it’s such a sweet beautiful thing!! ❤❤
