Country music legend Kenny Rogers was married five times and had five children over the course of his life. Though he initially believed he was done having children after raising his older kids, his perspective shifted with time—especially after marrying Wanda Miller, his fifth wife. Together, they welcomed twin boys, Jordan and Justin, in 2004 when Rogers was 65.

Rogers first became a father in 1958 with daughter Carole, born during his marriage to Janice Gordon. As his career took off, he spent less time with her, respecting her stepfather’s role in her life. He later had a son, Kenny Jr., with his third wife, Margo Anderson. Their relationship became strained following their divorce, and Rogers often expressed regret for missing important moments.

In 1981, Rogers welcomed another son, Christopher, with actress Marianne Gordon. Though their marriage eventually ended, he remained committed to being a present father and praised Gordon for her support.

His later-in-life fatherhood brought newfound joy. Despite initial hesitation, Rogers embraced raising twins and shifted his focus from career to family. He retired from touring in 2017 with The Gambler’s Last Deal tour, wanting to create lasting memories with his sons—like traveling through Asia and Europe.

Kenny Rogers passed away peacefully in March 2020 at age 81. He left behind not just a musical legacy, but a touching story of growth, reflection, and the profound bond of fatherhood. fatherhood at his age as “bling,” even if they knew they could outrun him.
