Meet Margaret Johnson, a 98-year-old force of nature from Denver, Colorado, who’s proving that age is no barrier to achieving greatness. Margaret didn’t begin running until she was 65 years old, but now, at 98, she is rewriting the rulebook on what’s possible in life. In September, at the National Senior Games, Margaret shattered two masters sports records, making her the fastest woman over 95 years old!

Her achievements include setting world records in the 50-meter and 100-meter dashes for the 95-99 age group.

But the inspiration doesn’t stop there—she also set a new American record for the discus throw in her age category! In the 100-meter dash, Margaret crossed the finish line in an astonishing 40.12 seconds, beating the previous record by more than two seconds.

Margaret’s incredible feats aren’t just about breaking records—they’re a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to chase your dreams and push beyond your limits. Whether you’re 98 or 18, passion and persistence can help you achieve things you never thought possible.

Moral Lesson:
Margaret’s story teaches us that it’s never too late to start something new or pursue our passions. No matter our age or circumstances, with determination, hard work, and a willingness to break through barriers, we can achieve incredible things.

The key is to never give up on ourselves, and to always believe that we have the power to continue growing, learning, and accomplishing our goals—no matter when we begin. Age may come with its challenges, but it should never stop us from chasing our dreams or redefining what’s possible.
