My husband and I devoured the entire pot despite their being only the two of us!

Makes 6-8 servings.

One cup of brown sugar, half a cup of ketchup, two pounds of kielbasa sausage cut into half-inch chunks

2-Turnip-scale Worcestershire sauce

Use half a teaspoon of garlic powder.

– Half a teaspoon of ginger powder

one-fourth teaspoon of black pepper, ground

What to do:

1. Evenly distribute the sliced kielbasa across the base of a slow cooker.

2: In a compact mixing bowl, thoroughly blend the brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

3. Once the kielbasa is in the slow cooker, pour this savory and sweet mixture over it. Carefully coat each item with the sauce by tossing lightly.

4. Keep the lid on and reduce heat to low for four to six hours. This will give the kielbasa plenty of time to cook tenderly while the flavors combine. Another option is to cook it on high for around two to three hours if you’re in a rush.

5. After that, gently toss the kielbasa in the sauce to coat it again.

6. Serve hot, right from the slow cooker, with plenty of that delicious sauce for everyone.

Advice and Variations:

-Spice up the sauce mixture with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for an added kick.

– A Chopped apples provide a beautiful fruitiness to the mixture, which is sure to please apple enthusiasts in your household.

– A Incorporating slices of pineapple into this meal adds a tropical touch that goes wonderfully with the kielbasa.

– A Cut the brown sugar in half and add a spoonful of honey for a natural sweetener if anyone in your household is watching their sugar consumption.

– A You can make delicious sandwiches or a fast protein topping for salads with leftovers because they keep well in the fridge for a few days and are easy to reheat.

– A To keep the sauce from drying out and to keep the cooking temperatures equal, cover the cooker. The secret to these kinds of recipes is in the long, slow cooking that elevates ordinary materials to gourmet status. Have fun!

Tuck in the edges as you roll out the dough starting from the filled end.

Scatter sugar on top of the dumplings before placing them on the baking sheet. Brush with butter.

Brown and bubble after 12–15 minutes in the oven.

Let cool a little before you eat.

Tips for Serving and Other Options:

Enhance with a dollop of warm cream, vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream for a decadent finishing touch.

Serve with iced milk or strong coffee.

Try using a combination of berries instead of strawberries.

For a zesty touch, try adding zest from a lemon or orange.

Finish with a milk and powdered sugar coating.

Whenever strawberries are in season, stock up. If you like, you can also store frozen berries and crescent rolls for easy cooking.

Sweet memories of simpler times and the pleasures of home cooking and sharing meals are encapsulated in these Strawberry Dumplings, which are more than simply a dessert. With each mouthwatering taste, they have the potential to become a treasured tradition in your own household.
